Ujjain Darshan

Iskcon Temple

The ISKCON Temple in Ujjain, also known as Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir, is a prominent spiritual destination that blends devotion, culture, and architectural elegance. Built in 2006 under the guidance of HH Bhakti Charu Swami, the temple was constructed in just ten months using pristine Makrana marble, the same marble used in the Taj Mahal.

Situated just a few kilometers from Ujjain Junction, this temple is a serene escape from the bustling city. It is India’s first fully solar-powered ISKCON temple, reflecting a blend of modern sustainability and timeless spirituality. The sanctum houses beautifully adorned deities of Radha Madan Mohan, Krishna-Balarama, Gaura-Nitai, Jagannath-Baladeva-Subhadra, and Lord Narasimha.

The temple conducts six daily aartis starting from the early Mangala aarti at 4:30 AM to Shayana aarti at 8:15 PM. The atmosphere is spiritually charged with kirtans, bhajans, and the sound of temple bells, drawing devotees into a deeper connection with the divine.

Lush gardens, a Tulsi courtyard, a goshala, and intricately carved marble interiors enhance the spiritual ambiance. The temple also serves free prasadam daily, offers Bhagavad Gita classes, cultural programs, and has a Govinda’s restaurant for visitors.

With a guest house, auditorium, and educational activities, ISKCON Ujjain is more than a temple—it is a holistic spiritual and cultural center. It stands as a must-visit landmark for anyone seeking peace, devotion, and divine inspiration in Ujjain.
